Hopeville Will Be Aright: A Documentary of a Musical of a Fake Comic Book follows an independent Greensboro production company, Commander Squish Productions, as it puts a musical rock opera together and takes the show to The New York International Fringe Fringe Festival. The show has since been picked up by a production company in Los Angeles and may go on tour. This humorous and often touching documentary examines the difficulties of producing a show as these young people try to fulfill their dreams of finding success in New York.

The New Hopeville Comics: Live at the New York International Fringe Festival, a live taping of a New York performance, is available for a minimum donation of $10 for VHS and $20 for DVD.
