We are hosting a benefit show for New York Pizza at the Exchange, Thursday, March 7. NYP has sufferd damage from a fire which occured a few weeks ago. The reconstruction process is underway, but will take some time. Door proceeds will go to all of NYP's out of work employees, and The Exchange will donate and additional 11% of it's sales for that evening. The show starts at 9pm and features accoustic rock by Flynn, and Jazz by the Mir Trio.

The Mir Trio is a jazz ensemble formed by guitarist Michael Collings (left). His quartet, Direct Line, has been a regular feature at NYP. bassist David Menestres (right) and drummer Jackson Hacskaylo will play at the benefit.

The acoustic rock duo, Flynn, has played at NYP several times and had been booked for a show there the week of the fire. Singer Sheryl Pressman and guitarist Omar Holmes are students at UNCG.
